The Last Bag

The Danish fashion brand Piet Breinholm - The Last Bag - was recently covered by New York Times' fashion magazine 'Moment'.

The bags are inspired by the classic Danish school bags from the 1950's, and designed by Piet Breinholm. The re-design includes shoulder straps, which is especially useful when bicycling, as you do here in Denmark.

The bags are hand-made in Denmark, as they were 60 years ago.
Today, The Last Bag represent high fashion items, which you will find at 'Premiere Classe' exhibition in Paris.

デンマークで今もっとも注目をあびているバッグ・ブランド「Piet Breinholm - The Last bag」（ピート・ブラインホルム　ザ・ラスト・バッグ）がニューヨーク　タイムズ紙のファッションマガジン「モーメント」に取り上げられ、ついにアメリカでの人気が急上昇。

The Last Bag in The New York Times Moment

ザ・ラスト・バッグは２００５年にドラマー＆デザイナーであるピート・ブラインホルム氏により誕生しました。
元々デンマークで１９５０年代に使われていた学校カバンをリ・デザインしたこのバッグには「ひとつあれば他にバックはいらない定番バッグ」という意味が込めてられって「ザ・ラスト　バッグ」というブランド名が付けられました。

バッグは６０年前に学校カバンを作っていたデンマークの工房で今でも手作りで一つひとつ丁寧に仕上げています。

昨年からパリの展示会「Premiere Class」（プリメア・クラス）に招待されて出展をするなど、ヨーロッパ中から注目をあびているデンマークのブランドです。
